RUSUMO
This is in Ngara District at the border with Rwanda. This is the region of
feeder rivers to Kagera River, whereby rivers from two different directions
meet, giving a spectacular display of nature at its best.
It is also a reference place for the Rwanda atrocities where most human bodies
thrown into different rivers during Rwanda genocide, were brought by current
and good Samaritans fished them out for burrial. There are mass graves for the
Rwanda victims.
